Today on PlanetBase my goal is to do something different. I'm going to try to make a giant face. I'm not sure if I can but I will try. I will be back with my progress in a little bit.

So after a while of playing I have managed to make a giant face. Everything looks good besides the mouth. This was a lot of fun to make and a think everyone should go and try something new on this game.

After playing this game for 5 days I have had a good experience. This game is a ton of fun and could occupy anyone for hours. in my opinion this game is worth the $21.99 asked on Steam. At first its a little hard but after a tutorial and a 1 failed attempt picking up the concept isn't too difficult.

Today I have to restart my base because I lost the file save. I plan to build the essential things listed in day 3 but this to I need to build more power sources before I build a telescope and laser. Hopefully it will result in not losing a robot. Wish me luck...

PlanetBase is a survival strategy based game where you land on planet and need to survive. You need to build a base, power, food, and more. It's a very well thought game. Solar panels are essential for generating power for the day and wind turbines are used for power during the day and night. You must plant food and process them into meals. Living quarters are a customizable. People have emotions and you can make a bunk bed which is okay or you can create a full sized bed which will make the person more happy. There are different professions: workers, biologists, engineers, medics, guards, carrier bots, constructor bots, and driller bots. Build your base from a few people to basically a small city. But you can't just do that with zero problems. Keep in mind you can be hit by meteors, sandstorms, or solar flares so be prepared. To me it looks like a fun game that I would be interested in playing but is it worth the $21.99 ask for on steam? I think I will stick to pirates bay.

This Week I did...

This week in IT 9 I worked on an animation where you take a photo of your face and you animate the jaw to move on a separate layer in sync to an audio clip. Also the eyes and eyebrows move too

This week I learned...

This week I learned how to properly move my jaw in sync with audio and I learned how to code the animation to make a button play and stop from different points in the animation. One tip i give to everyone reading this is PUT EVERYTHING ON DIFFERENT LAYERS! If you don't then it become difficult to change/tweak various things.

This Week I did...
This week in info tech 9 i worked on a new animation in flash. 
It is an animation of my face where I import a sound file and 
I animate my mouth moving to the clip and any other parts I 
want moving.

This Week I Learned...
This week in info tech 9 I learned how to make a bunch of motion 
tweens and combine them to make 1 symbol. That way I can move 
them all at one time in sync while they individually move. Other
than that I basically used common knowledge of flash to create 
the rest. If you are interested it what I know about flash, feel free
to check out my older friday posts where I listed the stuuf I learnd
and a few commands.

What I did...
This week in InfoTech 9 I worked on my fish bowl animation, It's a fish bowl with a little castle with a sea breacher, fish, and many other moving tiems. My bowl has SpongeBob,s pineapple, Peter Griffen, A scuba diver and more.

What I learned...
This Week I learned how to use Flash to animate small videos, the basic shortcuts, how to make buttons, make motion tweens, import images, and more. So far Flash is a very fun program and it's fairly easy to use once you know the basics. If you're thinking of learning how to use this program I recommend it.
